Two Spirit 

Two-spirit people are Native Americans who identify as possessing both the female and male genders within them. A lot of people classify two-spirit as LGBTQ Natives, or others may just use the term to describe any person from the LGBTQ community. But the truth is that it refers to a certain community of people. 

 

The term two-spirit is different depending on the nation. Different nations have different names to refer to people of the two-spirit community. In the Ojibwe community
